I am Harry Lu, a Data Scientist does not only traditional data analytics and data science, but also big data algorithm design and engineering.

I got in touch R first, doing analytics, visualization, forecasting and statistics. At Fishmarket and Crane Management Services, I used R to clean, to analyze, to visualize (e.g. ggplot2, ggmap, shiny), to forecast and to distill complex data to make it easier for others to understand. Then, I learned SAS, SQL, Python, Spark, and eventually, all of them became my tools, in both academia and industry. Later, I did more kinds of project with them, such as NLP, database management, big data computation, report generation and dynamic website design.
